Welcome to The Wild Garden Box!
Turn your garden or balcony into a thriving eco system to support the UK's beautiful but dwindling wildlife - by feeding what's there already, and growing to help the future. Nature needs us - let's help it fight back!

The Wild Autumn Box
The Wild Autumn Box is a carefully selected eco box designed to support the wildlife already in your garden, while planting the seeds for the seasons ahead. Inside you’ll find specially selected autumn bird seed, nutritious hedgehog food, high-energy suet crumble, a natural coconut feeder, and three sets of handmade seedballs — each with its own unique mission to help pollinators and wildflowers thrive. We’ve also included bamboo markers and a beautifully illustrated guide to show you exactly who and what you’re helping.
Every item has been chosen with autumn in mind: feeding garden visitors when food is scarce, while laying the groundwork for a flourishing mini-ecosystem for years to come. Thoughtful, practical, and entirely eco-friendly, this is more than a gift — it’s a way to bring your garden to life and give nature a helping hand.

Our seed mix isn’t just a generic bag of bird food — it’s been carefully chosen to give garden birds exactly what they need at this time of year. We use 8 different types of seed - all proportionally included to benefit our feathered friends most depending on the season.
As the days shorten and natural food sources start to dwindle, birds need a rich, energy-packed diet to prepare for the colder months ahead. Every ingredient in The Wild Autumn box has been selected with autumn in mind, helping robins, tits, sparrows, and finches stay strong and healthy right through to winter.

Each seedball has been hand-rolled with a mix of clay and compost to protect it until it’s ready to grow. We’ve created three different “garden missions,” each designed to support a specific part of your local ecosystem — from pollinators like bees and butterflies, to building soil health and future habitats. Simply scatter, water, and let nature do the rest. Over time, these seedballs will bloom into a mini wildflower haven that keeps giving back. Crucially - these seeds have all been selected as they benefit by being scattered in autumn, and all of them are native to the UK, or archaeophyte (meaning it's been around for 100's of years, so is part of the UK's eco system now)

The wildflowers grown from your seedballs don’t just look beautiful — they become the foundation of a living ecosystem. Bees, butterflies, hoverflies, and other pollinators thrive on their nectar. Spiders and insects find food and shelter among the stems. In turn, birds and even bats benefit from the abundance of insects your flowers attract. By planting these seedballs, you’re not just growing flowers — you’re creating a small but vital sanctuary where countless creatures can feed, shelter, and play their part in nature’s cycle.
